Below is a snapshot of those who serve the body in a specific task. As you get to know us you will find we all serve the body and the community as well, to show the love of our Lord.
So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. Ga 6:10
In January of 2021, I moved here from Massachusetts with my wife, Andressa, and daughter, Alyssa, to take on the minister position of the Roanoke Church of Christ. I have had the joy of God calling me to faith in Jesus as a businessman in my thirties. Since then He has guided me to seminary, prison ministry, and serving the church in various capacities. I believe He has placed me in Roanoke in this season of life to serve not only this church body but the community as well. It is my goal to guide people toward an intimate relationship with Jesus and walk with them on this journey. I hope to talk to you soon.
Holly is our facilities manager. You will also see her active serving those in the community with cystic fibrosis.
Joanne serves the church as our administrative assistant but also has a passion for Kairos Ministries.
Erma works our AV, youth, hospitality, outreach and anywhere else there needs to be a spot filled.
Susan serves as a deacon to our congregation. You will also see her as a regular volunteer at the Roanoke Rescue Mission.
Andressa serves the Church as a deacon, teaches children’s church, and is involved with youth as well as outreach.
Our steering committee oversees the business of the church and is comprised of: Delmas Bolin, Mike Branch, Wayne Flora, Susan Jordan, Judy McWhorter, and Mark McRoy.
If you feel led to serve either during worship service or as a partner with us in the community, we would love to talk with you.
